Well that's basically it: I miss Art! I miss photography so much, especially.

Last July I went on a road trip to Seattle, WA w/ 3 friends. We made it to WA state, but on the expressway we were sideswiped by a semi and our car rolled over and landed upside down. The car was totaled, but everyone inside was ok aside from cuts and bruises. We were so lucky! Obviously, we didn't make it to Seattle.

We were traveling 80mph (that was the actual speed limit) when the accident occured. At some point in the rollover my Canon Rebel GII (in it's camera case) went flying out of one of the shattered windows. A WA Highway patrol officer found it (give or take) 50 feet down the highway. At first, the camera look undamaged, even the the case was torn. I even took a picture of the upside down car w/ it. But then I realized the lense was jamed pretty bad. Also the dial is broken too - it wouldn't even turn off - I had to take the batteries out. But at any rate, my poor camera, got hurt (haha). Well I haven't had the time (or money) to replace it or get it fixed if it's fixable, so *sigh* I miss photography so much! I may, sooner or later, post some old photographs on here, kind of a comemeration to my camera, haha.

I also started my 2nd year at Northern Illinois University. I'm a Special Education Major w/ a French Minor. I'm considering changing my major to Music Education, or maybe even double majoring (but me being here for like 8 years doesn't seem to appealing). Which leads me to say, I have no time to do art! I miss it so much - plus some of my friends are art majors, so when I see them working on stuff, it makes me miss it more. I could take and art class or two, but I really don't have the time. I may try for that over the summer. I just miss it a lot.

*sigh* I long to be apart of something artistic!! Well, aside from the University band
